Chiefs Varsity Start Today

The Iroquois/Alden Chiefs Varsity Hockey team starts on their season long journey this afternoon against Orchard Park High School. Game will be at 5:45 at Leisure Rinks in Orchard Park.

New from Windows.... Windows 7

Due to the negative effect Windows Vista has had on many people, Windows is striking back with Windows 7. A updated software made to work smoother with less bumps than Windows Vista.

Windows realized that Vista owners were alienating the Windows products for the Macintosh by Apple. Windows 7 was previewed recently and will have a test model coming out in early next year. Windows 7 will be user friendly with different Task-bar to preview all open windows by hovering icons. Windows 7 will be faster and more efficient than Windows Vista.

I believe if Windows 7 is what it is said to be it will bring back the Windows customers. Do you feel if Windows can make up for Vista's problems will it attract the customers back?

Alden Highschool Hockey Ready for Another Run

After the Varsity Hockey Team finished last season with a Super Sunday win inside HSBC Arena to claim the High school title. The team has been practicing for 3 weeks and are ready for their first scrimmage game of the season against Depew High School on Saturday November 1st at Firemans Park in Depew. The Varsity team brought 10 players back from the championship team including both goaltenders to bring another Super Sunday Win. After the JV teams second place finish last season they are prepared to come back strong with 8 returning players to bring home a championship. The JV teams next starts November 7th at Leisure Rinks in Orchard Park. Question is how many people will come watch our hockey teams?

Put another win in the books! The Iroquois Alden JV Hockey team is on fire winning one game after another and now the Chiefs are 9-2. The Chiefs have another game tonight at 6:45 at Leisure Rinks against Fredonia/Dunkirk
